Yes the first brick from the left on the picture is firebrick I use too, second one looks to me more as chamotte brick. Chamotte bricks are also refractory and often used to build fireplaces. In europe they use chamotte bricks.
Always ask for firebricks with alumina content 23% plus and high in density - heavy in weight. These dense firebricks with higher mass cannot be cut with a hand held hacksaw but they can be cut with hand held grinder and diamond wheel on the grinder. r
