Brick oven birthday gift

Hello to all wood fired ovens enthusiasts.

We are writing this to say how happy we were with the building plans on cd’s we received and sending you a couple of photos to look at.

We built the mighty brick oven on the swishy oven design drawings. We have fired it up and were successful on our first attempt with pizzas, and since have cooked a roast and vegetables, again success! It was a 75th Birthday present to our Father.

We were reminded of the years when we had a slow combustion stove, the cakes and roasts etc. which tasted so much better than the microwave and conventional ovens of today!
