This Pompeii style wood burning brick oven had the front brickwork slowly separating by a crack into two halves. A metal bolt was introduced within the drilled-through bricks to hold the large crack together.

Title: Fire in the dome.
Description: Close up shot of the oven inside. The screws of the metal bolt that goes through the drilled front brick arch is visible here, this bolt holds the two separating halves together as it seems without issues.
