Oven built on smaller footprint
A new artistic field stone structure built in Canada in Ontario. Work by James. The slab for the oven happened to be smallish in surface originally therefore we built-up blocks at the back cascading style and made the top surface spacious enough.

Glass factory firebricks were used for building this oven
Quality industrial 40 percent alumina content firebricks from a glass factory were used for making the cooking part hot face inside this oven.

Solid clay bricks were used instead of firebricks
I also used a much cheaper end of lot homogeneous solid clay bricks instead of firebricks. These bricks I got have slightly different dimensions as you can see, not that it did matter much at all.

Pizza oven with fireplace and smoker
Here is a pizza oven (with fireplace and smoker system under one hood) built on a five acres wooded property lot plus a swimming pool. The structure has an interesting stainless steel metal roof.

Another Community Oven Built in Minnesota
This is a new communal oven built. Mike has done already 2 community ovens plus another oven for his own use at home. In addition, Mike currently continues to be a building consultant of couple more oven projects for two different communities. Each of these ovens have the same extended roof as can be seen on this design.

Brick oven with stone base
Me and my dad we have built a pizza oven in the garden completely out of bricks with a stone base. We used one plastic barrel as a mould to make the brick vault. Just wandered if you were interested to see some miscellaneous photos of the oven.

Nikon D800 for technical macro photography?
Got myself a new model Nikon D800 digital SLR camera body which I plan to use with also Nikon AF-S Nikkor 105mm 1:2.8G Lens (N) mainly for technical macro photography, images of flour types and varieties of building material. I am still working out the best 1:1 manual settings for taking detailed macro photos with this D800 Nikon DSLR camera and a macro lens.
