Title: French Baguettes baking photographDescription: The baguettes and pizza are mine and done in my own oven. I am often asked how I get a baguette to stay in shape. The answer is simple; what I do the first after I have made the dough is to roll the formed dough in a flour dusted kitchen towel and let it rise that way until it is rolled out right from this towel directly on a thin narrow peel. Then once unloaded into the oven floor it is easy to straighten it nicely out with the edge of the peel. |
