I sent you email about 1 hour ago as I replied to your posting. Now when in account I red your other words, I was thinking that if the slab on top of the bolder was foot thick and well reinforced with mesh and re-bars ( in the center and also around sides like with any other slab ) that should probably hold the slab strong even if the stone under later cracked. By looking at -it might do so at some point in time I channel such vibes from it.
However that slab above must be secured to hold onto the bolder very well so the oven on top with this slab is stable. If not insulation, the rock will absorb the heat adding to a heat storing capacity, the oven will be hotter and hot for longer time. What do you think?
