Great results!
Every time I bake in the Rock Oven the results get better. This time was no exception. The bread was great success at the "Superbowl" party and I even won ten bucks! The bread went perfectly with venison chilli, slow cooked pork BBQ and salad.
Next I am going to try rye/white flour 50/50 mix.
Every time it gets easier too. I used to think bread making a mysterious difficult process, but it's actually very easy/simple once you develop a technique and learn your stove and your recipe and put the two together.
I had a bad moment when I wondered if I had written down the wrong start time of the bake. But I stuck to my plan the bread was PERFECT!
Having an outdoor Rock Oven would be very nice and I may have to build one!
Might try the Rock Oven chicken this week as the temps have dropped and it's like winter again....
