Buzzzzzzzzzz, that too is a surprise of the nature!!!
For more then 2 years I have wasps on my window making these thin long nests from top downwards, and I can t get rid of them. From time to time I destroy all nests, with permanent long wooden stick tool as it appears to be now, and quickly run away from the area. But they would not leave rather they start to build their nests all over again. I feel bad about doing it to them but on the other hand I can t open the window. I do not want to use chemicals on them nor chemicals anywhere else!
I had a thought to cover the wall with insect screen although it would be hard to do. I think it could work if you covered your oven with this screen preventing them to enter easily. They will find a small gap for the queen to get out and will leave somewhere else just an idea. Good you started with this posting; hopefully we get expert s help on the issue!
