Hope your oven project goes well
my experience is that a wood fired oven kind of runs to its own time table , that is you heat the oven up, and then it cools down (to its own time table) sounds simple a!
so you eat food that req exterm heat 1st ie pizza dough with garlic and oil and salt (very quick)then pizza ,then its baking time with bread and pie's and even roast's
so a days cooking is all relitive to what u want to achieve!
in my oven after a burn you can cook pizza four about 1 1/2 hours ,with a small fire in the back to get it to that ponit it would req a burn of about 2 1/2 hrs whick would use up about 20 kg of hard wood,so i guess it also depends on the timber being used.
