Oven questions
From the WFO board
Posted by Vijay
Hi Rado and all,
I have just completed the concrete base for my oven. Before I lay the bricks, I was thinking if anyone has ideas about a gas burner installed in the bricks that would help in lighting the wood. In other words, the gas only used for lighting the wood.
In your CD I find that you suggest using foil in between the dome and the cladding. What is the reason? If it is to create a barrier between the concrete cladding and the fire brick, would it not be a good idea to do the same for the walls and the back of the oven when conrete is poured to support them?
Thanks,
Vijay
