Gas Pizza only oven
From the WFO board
Posted by Robert Grimes
I am trying to design a small footprint and inexpensive oven that would be used for pizza only. It would need to heat quicker than the typical 1+ hour and thus be ready to use sooner. I am only planning on cooking pizza (2 large pies) at one time and then be done. I would also like to use gas instead of wood if possible. I have working on ideas of how to use the burners from a standard propane BBQ as the heat source. I have even been thinking of building the oven on top of a cheap portable BBQ.
I currently make my pizza inside the BBQ and it works OK, but it can only do 1 pizza at a time.
Anyone have any suggestions? I am including pictures from what I am currently doing in case anyone wants to see.
