I am making a BBQ using fire bricks. The problem I have is that the fire clay is not sticking well to the bricks and the bricks start moving as soon as the clay dries. Why? I mixed the clay only with water. Thanks

Christopher, dip the firebrick into water prior working with them. Let some water to soak into them, 20 minutes in water will be sufficient.
