Finished cladding around oven
From the WFO board
Posted by Shawn
I just poured the 2" of cladding around my oven, on Sept 5th, and am excited to start cooking pizzas.
How long do I need to let the cladding cure(dry)before I start a fire in my oven? What is the procedure for first time fires, how many, what temperature, Etc.? I read the posting on "hardening of outdoor clay ovens", and didn't feel like this applied to firebrick ovens.
Thanks,
Shawn
