Render cracks
From the WFO board
Posted by Ed
I have just made my 1st of 2 render coats to my oven. The oven is insulated & I have had curing fires at stages of construction. This first coat of render on chicken wire was kept wet & covered for 3 days in moist cool weather before 2 small fires last night. Today I have noticed several long cracks in the render coat only on the span across the dome area. As I am still to make a second reder of about 10mm over this first coat, should I be concerned about these cracks?
Love the site, and thanks for creating it.
Regards,
Ed
