Vent
From the WFO board
Posted by Atitaya O'Brien
I just finished my round brick oven of 42-inches diameter. What is other alternative for the steel vent? Could I make the vent out from refractory concrete mix? My mason cut a tree-inch stone vent, but after 5 times of firing, the vent was cracked down.
Also, the Terra cotta flue cracked. What is the best size of the vent for the 42-inch round oven?
Please help.
