Hello! We are interested in making an earth oven. We live in southern Indiana and there is plenty clay soil available and lots of rock, though most the rock on our property is sandstone so we cannot use that. We are thinking of making it a church project for the first one as there are many in our church interested as we are counseled to become self sufficient.
That also includes independence from gas and electric if possible. Do you have advice for us? We can use any we can get. I have obtained a copy of Kiko Denzer's book to start. I am very enthusiastic about it. Sincerely, Sherrie.
