Natural fiber brush and tree branch tools.
Hi Ed, and Jerry,
I use same brush as Ed described and attached on a old broom bamboo stick. I am, going to take some picks of it (apart this one) and post them here now. Brass brush from automotive shops on a broom stick works too but natural fiber brushes cleans much better and cost nothing too.
The hot embers I push to a side with any tree branch, it burns down over weeks so it gets replaced for a new one, I will take one shot of it too. With the long tree branch I push coals to a side and then with this same branch I clean roughly the floor by making several sweeping moves, just for seconds it gets almost clean for pizza. Then just few same moves with the brush and the floor is clean. Don't go too close or hold the brush too long close to hot cinders so it will last more then 6 months. I don't use any other equipment; paddle (called also peel, spatula or flipper too), plus these 2 and that's it. r
