might be of some use for what you plan.
Burners can be fitted at the rear of the oven. If you have a look at some of the technical drawings & photos on that site, it should give you some good ideas. If I build another oven for myself, I'd probably make one that can utilise wood or gas as I am unable to burn wood when we have high fire danger days.
