Nan Bread?

Has anybody tried baking Nan bread in their oven? I have always enjoyed the Indian bread when we go out to eat, but never had access to a tandorri oven. Will these type ovens work?
Started on my oven on March 18th and I am working on closing in the front of the firebox and starting the fascade. I have spent a lot of time on it, but I am making good progress with help from my grandson. I pay him a bit, but I think he's really doing it for the pizza - GRIN.
Thanks,
Chuck
