A Serious Flue Question ????
From the WFO board

I am now at the point where my fireplace conversion Oven is ready to have its flue connected from the front of the oven back to the existing chimney. She's a BEAUT!!! Anyway, the burning question is whether to make the gently sloping connection ( less than 20 degrees) out of 12" X 12" O.D. flue tiles ....or... out of 10" X 8" O.D. tiles. The size difference appears to be approximately half ( respectively). Is bigger better ??? Or ...will the smaller tile allow enough flow ??? The over-all run of this connection is about 50" or so... I really feel that I must be sure on this....HELP
