Thanks for the information. The sides at the back and top of the oven will be finished with mortered natural stone over the vermiculite cement mix. In the front I have enough room for about an inch of morter over the ceramic blanket or vermiculite mix and then I plan to use a use a sealer to protect it all from the weather. How does this sound?
