Ok, now with so many responces I am getting a little confused. I posted the tech sheet for the 80Lbs Maximizer concrete in a previous post. This contains everything except for the water.
Please correct me if I am wrong, but if I understand Rado, I will just need to add additional lime to the 80lbs bag and this should yield the correct mixure for what I need in the 4-1-1 situations (hearth slab, cladding, etc...) I have noticed a 80lbs bag of concrete is slightly smaller than a 50lbs bag of Austin Lime. So if I added 1/5 of the lime to the mix, I would about about 8-9lbs of lime (remember the lime bag is a tad larger.)
So 80lbs bag of Maximizer (blue bag) + 8-9lbs lime + water + wheelbarrow + mix well = good hearth concrete???
Thanks -edwin
