Vermiculite Vs Perlite
From the WFO board

Hi Rado,
what is your opinion on using Perlite instead of vermiculite for insulation? I was thinking about using a Perlite/cement mix as insulating slab and pour loose Perlite on the concrete oven cladding. The reason I'm asking is because Perlite is considerably cheaper than vermiculite.
By the way, got your CD a couple of weeks ago and have started building the oven. Will send you pictures when it all set and done.
