I bought a South African cast refractory dome oven. What was great for me was I popped it out of the crate put wood in it and cooked. This took ten minutes. I'm in Chicago and my oven sits outdoors all year. Some spidery cracks have occurred in the base but they were easy to repair with some refractory cement.
Sometime in my life I will build my own brick oven. But for now this oven is just fine and cost was not to bad either.
