Jerry,
Add one or two bricks to the arch to make its rise higher eat least 15cm to 17.5cm (6" to 7") if 5cm (2") cladding layer is used. Or make walls lower with higher arch rise. Door width of 42cm will be nice; usually I do 40cm to 43cm (16" to 17") wide entries for 82cmm or 87cm (32" or 34") wide oven chambers. Answer about the terracotta pieces Q. is in your second posting Re: I have replied to. r
